This film tells the story of a killer locked up in an institution trying to reprogram his mind and take away his desire to harm others. Dawson stands out from the rest of their subjects, completely rejecting the treatment and making their mission impossible. So what makes Dawson different from the rest? Check out "Murderous Minds," a short film written, directed, and edited by myself, Christina Alaio. Special thanks to Andrea Toth, David Payne, Sophie Camizzi, and Grace Anneser for starring in the film and for all of their great contributions!
This documentary exemplifies my father's strength, perseverance, and work ethic coming to America at just 12 years old and going into the restaurant business as a teenager. My father, uncle, and grandfather set out to open a restaurant in the Bronx, changing their lives forever, as my father and uncle now own 12 restaurants all across the Tri-State area, along with their new expansion in Florida. This documentary is dedicated to my incredible father. As an immigrant, it has shaped his life and mindset in America and allowed him to empathize with others struggling in the way he did when first coming to this country. It also touches on the immigration laws in America and how so many people's lives are affected every day trying to achieve the American Dream.
This eerie video stars Christina Alaio and Andrea Toth, two haunt actresses at Legends Of Fear in Shelton, CT, one of the top haunted attractions in the country. This video takes viewers on an intense rollercoaster viewers are dying to get off of. Hope you enjoy!
Christina Alaio and Andrea Toth recreate an iconic scene from Stephen King's Misery for Christina's production class at Sacred Heart University.
In May of 2020, just a few short months into quarantine, I had to create a final project for my Visual Effects & Graphics class at Sacred Heart University. This was an assignment I struggled to brainstorm ideas for, with limited availability to people and places due to the pandemic. That's when I thought to myself: why don't I make a video about the time we're currently in? Using After Effects, I came up with this inspirational video to combat the tragic world we were currently in a state in, receiving an A as my final grade.
I have always been a huge fan of Justin Bieber. As a fan from the beginning, I watched him struggle and lose himself as an artist and as a person. Being discovered at only 12 years old, it was inevitable the fame would take over and make him lose his sense of identity and purpose. After sobering up and working on himself and his faith, he made a massive comeback in 2015 with the release of his album Purpose. I was incredibly proud of him and made this video to showcase his journey back to his grounded self. It received over 75,000 views on Twitter, and Justin Bieber's mother even liked it. This video has always felt like a huge accomplishment.
